Youth & Children's Religious Education Mission Statement

The Youth & Children's Religious Education Program of  St. Thomas Aquinas Church strives to help the students and their families to know and love Jesus, while serving others as He did.

The program serves children from pre-K through high school.  It is our mission to partner with parents, as together we lead the children to become true disciples of Jesus Christ.  You are welcome to visit www.BeMyDisciple.com to learn about the teaching materials used in grades 1 to 6.  Pre-K and Kindergarten are instructed through "Stories of God's Love" published by RCL/Benziger.  Middle school students enter a two-year preparation process for the Sacrament of Confirmation.  High school students participate in age-appropriate faith discussions.  They are also invited to join the parish's Youth Group.  To enroll your child, or for more information, contact Susan Sousa at 410-366-4488 ext. 26 or susan_sousa@yahoo.com.

Youth Ministry
St. Thomas Aquinas Parish recognizes that our youth are our future.  It is the responsibility of the parish and community to ensure that young people have all they need to help them grow into caring, Christian adults.  The goals of the STA Youth Ministry are:

* to provide them with opportunities to be active members of the
Church  by participating in liturgical events and serving their
   community
* to encourage positive development throughout adolescence by
supporting and encouraging the Christian values they are taught in
   their families
All youth in grades 7-12 are welcome.
